I have a 10g, and i heard that it was possible to keep 2 german blue rams in one, if it was heavily planted and had lots of places to hide. is this true? or is it just some false info on the net?

It is possible. I don't recommend Rams in general but two in a 10g is fine with plenty of cover. For that small of a tank, be prepared to keep your water in pristine condition as these are not a very forgiving fish.
once again i agree with tommy, rams require pristine water conditions at all times and are very susspetible to changes in water parameters.
