Cichlid ID help needed, aquarium store less then helpful

Just got this character today, he/she is great fun to watch and has picked a territory and settled in nicely.
The only remaining question is..... What is it?
The aquarium store was calling it a convict, which it doesn't look like to me.
Any help is appreciated! This is my first cichlid experience and i'm really enjoying it so far!

OB peacock, looks like a female. It's a man made hybrid between some malawis peacock and mbuna.

You know, some LFS's can be so stupid when they want to. They weren't even in the right hemisphere!

To be fair there were labels on the tank for "Misc SA" and "Misc African" cichlids as well. Ahh well.

On the plus side, from reading and now observation, an OB Peacock is absolutely perfect for this tank, and a convict wouldn't have been so perfect. Workable, but not perfect.
