Cichlid ID!

I got this guy from WalMart from the South American Assorted, I really don't know what he is tho.

Looks like a green texas cichlid because of the black spots on its body and tail

Im not 100% sure and could be completely wrong.

What other fish are in the tank with him?

You've got to be kidding me....He's a Texas Cichlid and I have him in with Dwarf Cichlids, Angels, Gouramis, Guppies, Swordtails, Platies, Cories, Tetras, and Plants! Should I remove him? He's been eating flakes, he does show signs of chasing the guppies but he does no harm, what should I do?

Yes i would remove him before he is the only fish in the tank.
Do you have an empty 75g tank that you could put him in?

Not at the moment. I do have a 55 gallon tank that's open. He's only 1.5 inches. My oscars are in the 55 gallon right now, but im planning to move them.

How big are your oscars? I think youll be safe for a short while with the Texas in your tank just very short though seeing how big they get and how fast they grow
