cichlid tank buddies

I have a 90gal with 1 blue cich, 1 yellow lab, 1 red ?, and 1 black/blue/yellow striped cich.

When I stocked the tank about 4 years ago, I had a common pleco that was already a pretty good size. The cichlids didn't seem to bother him, but I'm not sure how much he liked the high Ph. He lived a total of 8 years.

I want to try some additional tank buddies. African Claw Frogs, another Pleco, Apple Snails, Loaches, etc.

Will these additional tank friends get along with cichlids and vice versa?

I also intend to purchase some more cichlids to fill up the tank again.
 
I wouldnt put a pleco in there... my cichlids ate the eyes out of me common plec. =(
 
It sounds like most of your cichlids are mbuna. Mbuna don't get along very well with other fish besides mbuna and some syno catfish. They will kill most other tankmates. I would first find out exactly what kind of fish you have before looking at any potential tankmates. You can make a thread here asking for ID help.
 
snails are a definite no for that tank.

i take it you are looking for something to 'help keep the tank clean'?
