Cichlid Tank Gravel (Sand) Questions

erm.. ALL The cichlids are aggressive against ALL the OTHER cichlids...

okay except that the smaller ones dont pick on the bigger ones.

They will do it all the time. I have a special case with my tank's Boss #1 which is my biggest male rusty (I. sprengerae). When I vacuum the substrate I level it nicely and this bastlid in a few hours digs the same hole again. I'm beginning to hate him.

HAhaha im pretty sure he's starting to hate you too...

but he cant really bite the hand that feeds him.. neither will he do much damage if he does..

I think the hierarchy is not established in my tank yet... a few of them still contesting for the #1 boss spot.
