do you think it's fine if i treat the entire tank with epsome salts even though only 3 of the fish are showing signs of bloat?
You can treat the whole tank with Epsom salt: 1tsp for each 10gal. It will not be harmful and I saved 2 bloated fishes with this dosage. Make them fast for 3 days to see if the salt can work better in them.
I would start with 1tsp/10gal and then repeat treatment in 24 hours if symptoms continue. Keep the Epsom salt in the tank for a week and then a water change. Good luck!
Yes, repeat that same dosage. I would try to feed them after 3 days of treatment with a small amount of food.
so just to make this 100% clear if they don't look better in 24 hours then i should bring the concentration up to 2 tsp/10 gallons?
thanks for the advice efors. How can you tell if they get better in a day or not? since i won't be feeding them it'll be hard to tell.
