I keep SA/CA cichlids because of the high heat in my garage. My tanks in the garage get about 84-88 degrees. I have put insulation around the tanks as best I can. Does anyone keep African Maliawan or Tanganyikan cichlids in high heat areas? If so which ones.

Thanks,

Tanganyikans are particularly known for being intolerant of temperature extremes, so I would stay away from them.

Wild rift lake cichlids are subject to very little change in temperature due to the huge volumes of their home waters. I don't think you'll find any that will survive, let alone thrive, at such an extreme temperature.
