Cichlids with sores on thier "lips"

i have 2 cichlids with some white sores on the tops of thier lips, i did a large water change yesterday in case it was bad water quality. Any thoughts? Thanks the cichlids are from an importer and pretty expensive, i'd like to maske sure they survive.

Possibly mouth fungus if it starts to become cotton like.

That sounds like it, anyway to fix it? How did it start?

My fish sometimes get white lips also but in my case its due to lick locking.

Do your fish's white lips look like jsut white skin or do they look fuzzy or "infected". What sort of cichlids are these? Are they aggresive have you seen them fighting?
