How much circulation is actually needed for a FOWLR? Currently the only movement I have is from the return line from my trickle filter (running on a Rio 2500). Is that flow sufficient? I was thinking about getting a Koralia to supplement the flow. I'm not sure which one though since I don't want to blow the fish away with too much current.

I've heard 10 times the gallons of your tank for turnover. On my 56gal I have two MaxiJet 1200's thats around 600 GPH. Also you want to make sure there are no dead spots in the tank. I find its easy to tell when you droop food in and watch how it circulates. Frozen mysis shrimp cubes work best.

10-20X is what I shoot fo in a FOWLR, but I lean more towards 20.
