It ended up not so bad... got a refund.

Thanks. The owner did show with his head down and gave me $220 and said I could keep the tank, I told him to cheer up its OK, and gave him back $49 (no change) for what it was worth.

But yeah, this concludes this drama thread and my next thread will actually be the DIY step by step with photos. watch for it, it should be a slow but complete fix.
