Cleaning Glass Surface

What are the best supplies for cleaning the glass? Will windex work or will the chemicals in it affect my tank in any way?

Yes, or you could use newspaper or a cloth.

I always spray some windex on a paper towel and clean the outside, DON'T use it on the inside at all. For the inside just use one of those magnet cleaners. They do a great job on the whole tank and you never get your hands wet

.... "Never" meaning when you aren't doing a water change/gravel vac or "never" meaning that you use rubber gloves...
