Other then scrapers and razors ..........i got them dish scrubbies in the dollar store soaked then for a day or 2 in saltwater and use those , make sure their plastic and manually do it .
make sure you get no sand in it tho.

Razor blades wont harm the glass at all? is there a certain technique when using them?

no razor blades won't harm the glass as long as you hold it flat against the glass and make nice up and down swipes with it. the only way you'll scratch the glass is by tilting the blade enough to slide the corner of it along the glass. i've been pretty fast and sloppy with my blades and never put a scratch in the glass. now with my mag-float - that's another story...
