cleaning glass

what can you use to clean the inside of glass. I have one of those magnetic thing but i want to clean it good. ANy suggestions. ANy houshold items?

The most effective thing I've found is using a coarse cleaning sponge (one of those white things - acrylic safe) ... I agree it can get messy since it involves getting your hand in the tank (which might not be the best idea, depending on the species of fish you have in there). I find that I can really give the glass a good scrubbing using that.

some one suggested a credit card in another post to be used as a scrapper.

my LSF sells a razor blade scraper with a REAL long handle...it only cost a couple of dollars and its great for getting to all the nooks and crannies...mind you, my tank is glass, not sure how it would go ifn you had an acrylic tank...
between that and the magnet, its stays fairly clean...
