cleaning the test kit

i just want to insure that my testing is accurate. is there any sort of special ways you guys clean your test kits. I just rinse out the tubes after each test and make sure they thoroughly dry before i re use. any comments?

I wash them with tap water after testing, ans then again before testing.

Also, inmediately before I do the test I rinse the vial in tank water 2 or 3 times. This way I am sure any residual water will be exactly the one I'm testing.
