Cleaning Turface

Hey all -

So I'm starting a new 20g long and I've decided to use Turface Pro League Gray as the substrate. I've got a fresh bag and have about 6 inches in a 5 gallon bucket. I have rinsed it 20+ times (no exaggeration) and cannot get clear water! I'm about 2 hours in..

Any suggestions..? Not looking for "don't use Turface!" because I've seen a number of local tanks with it and it's beautiful!

When i cleaned mine i used a flour sifter and it took about 2 hours to clean to two 5 gallon buckets but it has to be a flour sifter that is the only one i could find that was small enough.

I have had luck with cleaning Flourite using an old collander. I was happy and the little woman was able to buy a new one.

For me, I poured it into a 5g bucket and rinsed it about 5 times, and then put it in the tank. It was still really cloudy, but after about 5 hours of running the filter, it had cleared up a lot. After 24 hours it was almost completely clear, and then at 48 it WAS completely clear.
