My water is still slightly cloudy. I have done 20% water changes, tank is cycled, chemistry is good per my LFS. But yet my water is still cloudy! fish seem okay as well. Any help would be appreciated. See my signature for tank info.

Once the beneficial bacteria starts going good your tank should clear up. What color is the cloudiness? White? Green? If the tank is cycled it shouldn't be a whitish bloom. Could there be any other reason for the cloudiness such as unwashed (ie: not washed when you took it out of the bag) gravel? Can you see any floating particles?

White haze!

There are water clearing products you can buy.

I've tried them with mixed success.

Much more info needed

What size is the tank, how long has it been running, what kind of filtration do you have on it, have you added any new fish lately and when you say the chemistry is good, did they, perchance, tell you the numbers?

use carbon?

Carbon yes!

I didn't see the part where he said the lfs checked his water. What you are seeing then is most likely a bacterial bloom. "Bad" bacteria (the white haze) are in the water feeding off the fish waste that the "good" bacteria should be digesting, and will be digesting once they get built up. Once your bioligical filter comes up to par, the cloudiness should go away.
