I noticed an interesting thing: in the morning, when I turn the lights on the water in my aquarium is quite cloudy. By the evening it's pretty much gone. Does anybody know what it is and why? I have a planted 55 gal. Wisteria, anacharis, sword, java moss. Ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 5-10 ppm, pH 7-7.2

If it's a well established tank, my guess is that it is something plant related just based on what I know about science. But I am very inexperienced with live plant tanks so I hope someone else will come along and know more.

Hmm, too early for me to guess, but by any chance have you gotten numbers on the same day but one set from the morning, just before lights on and then at night before lights off again? Since you are seeing a difference there, I think both sets of numbers would be beneficial to the discussion.

I am not sure what that was but it went away. If I get it again I will do the tests. Thanks!
