I see nobody has answered you, I'll try. Cloudy eye is almost always from high nitrate, nitrite or ammonia burn. Do LOTs of water changes as often as you can. Daily or every other day can help.
What are you water test parameters? Ammonia, nitrite & nitrate? You need to be able to test for these at home. Many of us us API master test kit to see what's happening. Also, what are your tap water numbers?
