I don't know if you guys know anything about Warmouths, but I'm pretty sure its disease is universal. The fish's eyes are very cloudy, and it seems that whatever it has been infected with is on the eye itself, not the pupil or the cornea, but the clear eye covering (I don't know what else to call it). It looks like it is one the outside, along within inside the eye cover. What does this sound like to you? Is it treatable? Are the meds expensive?

It doesn't say how to get rid of it, I have kept the water very clean, and yet the fish still has cloudy eyes. What are some meds I should get for it?
AHH! I just noticed the eyes have gotten worse... need help ASAP!!!! The disease or what ever has grown on the OUTSIDE of the eyes, and it is a a white fern-looking thing. I relocated the warmouth to a smaller 1 g bowl for easier maintance, but what medication do I used and such, that website doesn't have what my warmouth has.
"Investigate if water quality is high first (water changes), then if nutritional needs of that species are being met. Wait at least a week or two before trying any antibiotics, it will often clear on its own if water quality is high. Frequent water changes a must to improve quality. Test for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates. Cloudy eye is a sign of a number of things, rather than a disease in its own right."
How long has your fish had cloudy eye?
Here's another link that says treat the cloudy eye with antibiotics. I would start checking to find out why asap before your other fish have the same problem though.
