I did my weekly w/c a few days ago. And today it appears that it is starting to be alittle cloudy, what could the culprit be?
It is a 33 gallon. I have 6 neons, 7danios, 2 ottos, 3platties, 3glo lights, 3 gold tetras, 3 blue tetras, 1 minnow, and 1 black skirt phantom.
I have never had this problem before, I have had the tank up and running for 5 months. thanks:)

Did you change out your filter media? What are your current readings for ammo, trite, and trate? Its possible the cloudiness could be a bacterial bloom.

The perameters of the tank are 0 amonia, 0 nitrites, and 20 nitrates. I did not change the filter, I was going to clean it, by soaking it, but dumped the water before I could do so. So I will do it next time. Do you think that would be it?? The fish seem to be fine though. ??? Any suggestions??

I agree with the bacterial bloom theory..... Mine has done this before after a good gravel vac and rinsing my filters in tank water.... It only lasted for a day or two and was gone. The bacteria was playing catchup I guess and made the water alittle cloudy.
