my 120 gallon has been running over 8 months now.
120 lbs live rock,12 small fish and 1.5 inches of sand for substrate.
I have a durso emptying into a nylon and thru a mesh bag before entering my sump.
the water is never crystal clear,always stuff clouding the water which seems to be fine particles from the sand bed.
would a canister with just fine fill or foam be my best bet?
or should I ditch the durso and use a pipe with a wrap around it be better?
I have a seio 820,aquaclear 275 gph and approx 300 gph return on sump for flow. maybe (shudder) I should ditch the sand and go to a coarser substrate?
