How can I get rid of the cloudy water in my tank?

White cloud or green cloud?
White cloudiness is from free floating bacteria--usually not the same as the nitrifying bacteria. They usually die off as soon as the food source is gone. Increased water changes, and reduced bio-load (ie, feed less) will help.
Green cloud means algae. More water changes, less food, monitor light period, and adding plants are your best bets.
Flowerhorns get big--while it is okay at 3" in a 10 gallon, this a large bio-load, and that could be part of the problem. You will need to upgrade tanks, and these fish are often very fast growers. If yours is not, I would suspect stunting.

Thanks Orion G. It seems to be a white cloud w/ green haze. I plan to upgrade to a 55gal an add more south american cichlids but for now, she's stuck in a 10. Heres the weird thing:
I have a penguin 125 w/ a bio wheel ( It barely spins) and a corner filter run by an air pump. In it I have those white little bio thingies -you know, the one with the holes in it and some carbon. In the 125, I have a filter bag filled with carbon. Call me crazy,but is this part of the problem? what should I do? PS I dont feed that often, maybe 3-4 shrimp pellets a day.
