Cloudy Water

I recently set up my new 33gal aquarium (not brand new, but new to me) and did the fishless cycle.

I used my old media from the smaller 15 gal filter to cycle it. It had a bacteria bloom and after a few days cleared up.

I tested the water and everything was on spec.

I then added my fish from the 15 gal to the 33 gal every few days to not over stock quickly.

Everything has been fine until recently when I noticed the water starting to go cloudy again.

I have done a couple water changes and vacuumed the gravel. I have even added a couple ghost shrimp to clean up the bottom. I have even cut down on the amount I feed the fish just to make sure I am not over feeding them, making sure that they eat everything I put in.

Current stock
6 black neon tetras
1 male guppy.
7 guppy fry
3 ghost shrimp

Water Specs
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 5-6
PH = 7.6

With the water as it is, I am wondering if the cloudy water is something I need to worry about or if its just a natural cause.
 
You may have an algae bloom problem -- causing the water to be cloudy. Once you introduce the fish and food that goes with them, you start building nitrates in the water which algae love to use to grow and prosper. Best cure for this sort of stuff is a UV sterilizer. Water passes through a device which is exposed to deadly UV rays, kills algae, bacteria, parasites as well. Go buy one, hook it up and watch your water clear up in about 24-48 hrs -- just keep it going, your tank and the fish will thank you !!
 
White mist, looking at the straight on its not really noticeable, but when you look at the tank from the side its cloudy.
 
bacterial bloom nothing to worry about.. you could have just put your 15 gall filter and the fish in there and been done with it you didnt need to cycle the 33
 
live plants are always a good idea unless your tanks full of cichlids or goldies who will either shred em or eat em
just a small piece of the angel tank
