I have a new 25 gallon tank recently set up, with two platys and two tetras. Its been running for a week now with the fish in it. Still showing 0 ppm amonia and 0 ppm nitrite. The water is cloudy and I'm wondering if this is normal? Will it clear up? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

If ammonia and nitrite are zero, cloudiness isn't necessarily a problem. If the cloudiness has a green tint, it is an algae bloom. If white, it's a bloom of the normal microorganism in aquaria as they develop and find balance. The latter type of cloudiness requires nothing but patience, as it almost always resolves on its own. Chemical clarifers usually make matters worse.
