I set up my tank using aragonite yesterday and thought the cloudiness would settle over night. I set it up around 4pm and now it is 10am the next day. Is it normal for it so take this long to uncloud? Is there anything I can do to help it clear up?

I've seen pictures online of people immediately putting fish into the aquarium before the sand settled; however, I'm a bit hesitant to do so without inquiring your opinions. What harm could this present to my fish, if any?

Thanks!

Give it a few days...it will settle. You can speed the process a bit by adding additional mechanical filtration, but you end up losing the smaller particles this way, and small particles are a good thing.

I don't have any idea of your level of experience, but your post sounds like you think that clear water is the signal to stock a new tank. Make sure you understand about cycling. If I misinterpreted your post...

...nevermind!

I know how to properly cycle an aquarium. I asked because I found a webpage that someone made of their aquarium after converting it to live sand and aragonite but there were fish in while the water was still cloudy. I was confused by that.

I'll try to find the website. I don't have any knowledge of "converting" a tank over to another substrate so maybe there is some weird rule behind messing with pre-cycled tanks where it wouldn't affect the fish...but I am quite doubtful of that. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
