ok my ph is 7.6, ammonia- 0, nitrite-0, nitrate -5 mabey less. i added 6 black ruby barbs along with biospira, they are swimming fine (very active) and i anly fed them one very small amount to day, just to see if they would eat. the water is slightly cloudy. params point to the tank being done cycling. but i dunno if it is just the bacteria floating around till it attaches or what.

Have you tested your tap water to see if it too has nitrate readings, that will help to see if your tank is cycled or not too.

With that many fish added at once, it is very possible you are experiencing a bacterial bloom. However as the other poster suggested, I would also check the tap for nitrates.. Since you have a 0 ammonia and nitrite reading..I would say you are cycled. Keep a check on your parameters tho..
