Clown fish has white stuff on it

It's either fungal, or fin Rot... Dont scrape it... try treating it appropriately with medication move it to a quarentine system

I have treated it for over 1 month with Marycin 1 & 2 also Copper treatment. I did freshwater dips with formalyn. Should I treat with the formalyn & methane green or blue???? Let me know what you think works best. Thanks for your Help!

Saprolegnia can be treated with anti-fungus meds, malachite green, methylene blue or formaline. Try that and if it doesn't work treat fish with a little benocain and knock it out remove effected area and treat with mercurochrome. I hope this helps and please keep us posted.

how long did you do the treatments and at what dose? Those meds you listed should treat fungus effectively, but somehow I think you didn't treat correctly if none of them worked.

I treated them for over 1 month in QT. I followed the exact directions of each manufacturer. This seems to be some real stubborn fungus! I have them in QT again and am trying some stuff called Rid Ich+ by Kordon. It contains Formalin and Malachite green. I'll keep you posted on the progress....

good, so at least we've eliminated that potential for problems. Must be one super fungus, as you said.

4 days on this medicine and no signs of improvement. They are starting to looked stressed from the meds....I'll give it 2 more days.

OK took them off that medicine, did a water change. Now they are on Maracyn 1 for a 5 day cycle. That Kordon Rid Ick did nothing! This is some super fungus!!! It amazes me that these guys are still alive after all these meds!
