if u keep them in a small tank they will be stunted & wont grown to full size

Supposedly that's a myth, but I have had clown loaches in 10, 20L, and 29's for a couple of years that didn't grow much as far as I could tell while silver dollars, angels, tinfoil barbs, etc. grew at their normal rate/size (huge).

If I put you in a closet to live, would you still grow???

Do What you feil and I will fallow. If thats what you want, then you have it.

I think the questions been answered, and he is'nt gonna get them. and anyone else with clown loaches in a 20g, do you think a foot long fish will be able to turn around in there?

Yeah dude it is a great idea to keep clown loaches in a 20 gallon tank. It's sort of like keeping a 7'4" guy in an 8'x8' cell for the rest of his life.

Yeah that's my point...how comfy would it be???
Would you be able to walk or really function properly??
It's not good to keep something too big in a house that's too small, it's just plain cruel!! :mad2:
It's a myth to think a fish stops growing in a smaller tank, their organs still grow to normal size and the fish ends up dying a slow horrible death.

Fish really grow at the rate at which food is available. Clown loaches can grow up to 12", but most aquarium raised ones rarely see past 6". Keeping a fish in a small tank does not stunt there growth, they just die early.
