clown loach

thanx for the site. never knew there were that many catfish. btw the zebra is kickass. mine hides alot, and hard to take a pic of :)

one more question chil, can you think of anything that will go with my oscar? i know that people say that a 75 is only enough for 1 oscar, but he is kinda weird and only 9 inches, and at 3 years old, hes probably not gonna grow much more. could i take the chance and raise another oscar for him to play with, or perhaps a jd? or anything else you can think of? he lived with another oscar for about 6 to 7 months who was half his size and they got along fine. i think i have the most peacefull oscar in the world :)

I wouldn't risk it, especially if you like the Oscar. Those other suggestions might work, but they might be picked on, or they might pick on the Oscar...and that wouldn't be what you want. I'd go toward the toys if I were a big fan of my fish.

ok thanx man :) as of this point im not sure what i am going to do. if i can find him a nice big home, then i will let him go, if not ill keep him, and try to get some smaller cichlids to go in with him. :)

i had two clown loaches in the tank with my oscars. they were about 5" long. my LFS got them in while were there, and he sold them to me for $11 each, the other two that he put in his tanks to sell he marked for $35. so you can get a deal on them if you know your LFS owner well. the oscars didn't even pay attn to the loaches, and they hid in two stumps that i got from petsmart. they were fine till my flathead got big enough to eat them. they just came up missing one day and the cat was fat. as for toys, my lfs sells plastic shells and such that are colored see through, and my ascars love to scoot them around the tank.
