Hey, currently have 2 tanks, one houses a farlowella and I saw a clown at a LFS I want, as of now they would have seperate tanks but in 2 months will be put in a 90g with my other fish including the Farlowella.

Will the Clown be too rough for the Farlo? There will be 2 medium sized pices of driftwood at each end, with 3-4 rock caves, plenty of territory and caves to claim.

What you guys think?

I think they'd barely notice each other.

For a small clown you probably won't notice much missing wood. I have a royal (~6") though that you can see exactly where he had been chewing each day.

Hmm, I just got this driftwood, while it won't last forever I want to enjoy it for awhile haha, might have to pass on this guy, though they only get 4-5inch max, got some thinking to do.

Anyone else have some?

i've had one for about three years, they really don't eat that much wood. he's been living in the same piece of driftwood the whole time, all he's done is make his cave a little bigger so he can hide from me more. he does come out occasionally for zucchini though, he'll eat just the skin.
