clown pleco ?'s

Blanched - is that steemed? Is that a must for them to eat it - I have bin putting it in raw.
drop the zuke in boiling water for a short time.. usually less than 1 minute..softens the zuke a bit.. an alternative is to freeze the juke as this will break down the tissue also.

when I had clowns I just kept lots of driftwood and algae tabs

I've got a little clown that keeps to the driftwood pile solely. He comes out a little during feedings to see all the action, but the heads back to the wood pile. I have never directly feed him, but he's been around for 3 years and looks fat. I might add, he's has grown maybe a 1/2" in that time.

WELL I moved it and they Found it! Overnight the tore it UP!!!!!!!! WOW you can see big round chunks missing from it. They are eating it skin and all! I need to put another piece in there tomarow. I am amazed at how crazy they are taring it up!

Hello Arkangel,

Blanched means dropping the zucchini in boiling water for fifteen or twenty seconds, then removing it. It's done so the zucchini will sink as soon as it's put in the tank.

OOO - Now thats might be worth it! No tying off to ricks and what not :grinyes:
