how big do rubberlip,clown and bristlenose pleco's get?wal-mart's sign says that they each get about 3-5 inches(of course i dont trust them)they also say that pacu's get 10 inches.they have four clown,two bristle nosed and three rubberlip pleco's in a five gallon.

i'm almost certain bn and rubber lip get to 5-6 inches 5 being the norm. i have a bn

clowns get about 4" long. also, I don't reccomend buying any fish from wal-mart. they're tanks are disease breeding grounds.
My clown is about 4-5 years old and has reached the mighty size of 3" (and hasn't seemed to grow for the past year). Rubberlip's from my experience tend to be more 3-4" not 5 or 6".

I had a clown live for 8-10 years, never got more than 3 in. There are several species of ancistrus, the most common 1 gets to 5 or 6 in but some get much bigger. No idea on rubber-lips I've read 5 in.
i wouldnt buy from them,my wal-mart is horrible,they have about 20 cherry barbs with a betta,also thier tanks are all five gallons exept for the one twenty the have,which has 10 5" koi(they are pretty much stacked on top of each other).the tanks are so diseased i wont even go over there any more because it upsets me so muchfishcatch22 said:

wal-mart makes me soo mad 
i saw a beautiful bright red betta when i went to wal-mart,the next day i was returning some speakers and the betta had no fins at allthey had put him in the tiger barb tank.i love my bettas sooo much and when i see one dyeing i think,god,that betta could be in a big tank with plants and caves and he would be so happy,but no,he is going to have to dye being picked to death.:sad:i told the manager she said,"oh!the fighting fish,dont worry,that kind of fish doesnt have nerves,thats why they can fight so long." it took all the self control i had not to punch her.
