Co2 and excel

Does it make sence to use excel and inject co2. I have a presurised system and was wondering if excel was worth the money.

While Seachem is silent on the matter, it is my understanding that one of the ingredients in Excel can inhibit algae spores. I think you will find lots and lots of anecdotal information that it (Excel) contributes to a decline in algae.
