my co2 reactor diffuses co2 into the water that my plants use during the day. when my co2 turns off at night and the photoperiod ends, my plant takes in oxygen. ok... heres the question. would it make sense to put an air pump onto my reactor to dissolve more oxygen into the water for the plants?

you don't need to unless you notice the fish are in distress.

not that i need to. and not for my fish. for my plants. would an increased amount of oxygen be better for my plants at night?

Might circulate more and help the filter remove more dirt etc.
Would remove the high CO2 faster at night and keep the O2 higher for fish.

No issue for plants either way.
