co2 bubble

totally cool - thanks!!!!

I ordered it - and they take paypal so I didn't have to dig out a credit card!! and shipping is very reasonable

the glass difusers won't work with diy co2. you should get the hagen bubble lader, or a powerhead with venturi. these are the two best bets for diy. I like to keep lots of floating plants right over the hagen bubble ladder, like they do in the chinese lfs. none of the bubbles really make it to the surface, they all hang under the leaves.
On my 30gal planted I have diy co2 and i use both a glass defuser and the ladder.... maybe it just depends on how your producing your co2? OR maybe it depends on if you use a plastic bottle or what.... im not sure... Either way, a glass difuser works for me....

I've tried the glass diffusers, have 2 myself, and the DIY co2 simply doesn't create enough pressure to keep the diffuser going much longer than a day. DIY is a low pressure scenario. I think the glass is a waste of money, and is frustrating to no end. they're designed for high pressure... glad to hear you got yours working mudskipper, but it hasnt been my experience.

and yeah kj, that's a great deal on the hagen ladder. I havent seen it that cheap before.

cool,
and now my diy doesn't have any more bubble, and i just use it 2 day
a 500ml bottle

Just got my first diy co2 hooked up, bubbling away nicely. Quick question, should i place the diffuser close to the output of my filter to circulate the bubbles around or not worry about it ?
