CO2 generator...necessary?

If you are intending to do the DIY thing for a while I suggest using these in your caps.
I used them for years when I did DIY and never had a leak.
They are dirt cheap, in fact the shipping costs more than the items, so buy a few packages. I'm not sure, but you might even be able to find the tubing mentioned earlier on this site:

The blue one that i see at superpet or other pet stores is the Elite Hagen one i'm not sure if its silicone i'll have to look i guess. It costs the same as the regular airline tubing. I dont think anywhere around here sells it.

I bought some of that Hagen Elite blue stuff its semi transparent but not really and its kinda soft. I wonder if this stuff is silicone
