CO2 injector???

Is this an Australian Rainbow specific issue? My local LFS has a community planted display tank with Rainbows and 30ppm CO2.
To my knowledge it is a Rainbow issue only. If you read my original post you will note that I indicated that there is a way to negate the effect of the CO2 on the Rainbow's. I don't exactly recall the method but I have an inkling that is was Flourish dosing. You would be well advised to ask your LFS what they are doing!

The issue is not the plantings, the issue is the CO2. Rainbows are apparently not as tolerant of the CO2 as are most other fish.

This sounds pretty strange to me. Where did you see a description of this problem? Do you have any links to back it up?

flourish excel??
not really co2 dosing but may have been an issue with the excel.(chem carbon)?

if the tank is not a high light tank you don't really need to dose CO2.

I'd hate to be blamed for Global Warming because I dose pressurized CO2:silly: ;)
