co2 mixture?

1.5-2 cups of sugar
1/4-1/2 teaspoons of yeast

all in a 2L bottle

dont really see a point in doing that since the gas released isnt co2.

lol okay got me there. As i was typing "gas released isnt co2" im like wait sodium bicarb.. ehh w/e lol

But either way the reaction that will occur with vinegar + sodium bicarb is instant and will not last, especially if you are looking for something that should normally last 3-4+weeks

Im thinking this could be more economical because it produces tons of Co2.

vinegar = $2
Baking soda = $1

or

Sugar = $2
yeast = $1 (and you get more than enough)

I dont think anyone has ever used vinegar + baking soda mix since i just dont really see it working.

I am still having trouble with the ghost hair algae stuff. I gravel vacd and did a 50% WC last nite and used prime. Its deff not at bad but a few quarter sized spots are back?
