CO2 Nutrafin

I am seeing bubbles it isn't just not following up the bubble track. It also says you can adjust to suit your tank. I believe the max is 20 gallon, but I am using it on my 29 gallon. So should the tube be on the last slot, or the 1,2 slot? Instructions didn't clarify which slot was able to suit which tank size, but just says stick it on the last slot.

It should be in the lowest slot (#1) for your tank.

2 days later, no bubbles and nothing.
I have exactly the same problem :(

is the packets expired?
I saw the date in the activator, march of 2006 :(

Best if you dissolve the sugar completely, trust me it will dissolve even in lukewarm water, just takes time.

You can always go with a homemade mix
Stabilizer: 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
Activator: 1/8 teaspoon Active Dry Yeast
Sugar: 1/2 cup sugar
no no no, the mixture i gave you is not for just a regular diy co2 2L bottle, its specific for that nutrafin system
Thank you very much for the information :), I will try it !!!

Go to the store and buy some dry yeast and baking soda that is the activator and stabilizer. I use 1/4tsp of yeast and 1/4tsp of baking soda along with the sugar amount suggested by Hagen and warm water. Shake the bottle up a little to get stuff mixing and plug it in. I usually see Co2 with in a hour. If the bubbles are not traveling up the ladder make sure it is clean and completely straight.
