I'm trying to determine what the best solution for co2 diffusion is for my setup.

My tank is 37g and I am currently using the dupla 'diffusor' for co2 absorbtion

While it does the job, I am starting to get annoyed with the ugly diffusor

I have a Rena Filstar XP2 (supposedly 300gph, but probably less with media)

What's your opinion on the best inline co2 reactor solution for my setup ?

I don't mind using a DIY method, but I want to make sure it won't hinder the output of the Rena XP2

Thanks

If you put the reactor inline on the incoming water line, you probably won't notice any loss. Gravity from the syphon effect will help move the water into the reactor while the filter is pushing water up and out the outgoing water line. I did this (DIY) with my XP3 and it worked well. Pulling the reactor and cleaning it was too much a pita (behind a 90gal that is as close to the wall as possible) so I went with a microjet pump over an inverted flourish bottle inside the tank to diffuse the CO2.

Ok, thanks that helps alot

Seems like it would catch alot of debris on the XP2 intake.

Plus I'd need to get additional quick release valves to make the job easier.
