co2 regulator needle valve frustration

I recently got a co2 tank for my brand new aquamedic 104 co2 regulator.

Unfortunately, whenever I set the optimal flow rate (3 bubbles/s), after 30mins-hour it stops!

After I set the optimal flow rate, and I wiggle the needle valve a bit, it stops too.

I don't know what to do... my yeast system was less work than this :(.

That happened with my cheapo reg/needle valve as well. Eventually, I found the right spot and now it has been on for over 2weeks no problems

My kit runs at 30 psi which is about 2 bar and is very easy to adjust. It is also stable because the regulator is not trying to hold pressures near zero.
To adjust pressure, the screw in the center of the regulator's dome shaped piece screws in to increase pressure and screws out to reduce pressure. It has a lock nut on it on most regulators that will need to be loosened a bit to allow it to turn, then tightened after to keep it from changing on you. Do not take your pressure higher than you need to but 1 or 2 bar should be fine.
