Any particular brand better than others?
Do you really need them?

I finally found a place to fill up my 5Gallon co2 tank so I can join the world of pressurized co2!! woot woot. :headbang2:

Solenoid. 1/8" NPT ports. 110 volt AC. Has a LED to show power state. Note that these solenoids are rated for a 60°C rise in temperature when operating. So they can and do get quite warm. $30

if you want to be able to turn the co2 off and night then yes you need it. for me i leave it on 24/7 co2 isnt too much money.

Just curious how much you pay for CO2?

I could only find one place here in Coquitlam BC to refill my 5lb. tank.
It cost 15.00 to fill, 3 something for environmental levy?! and taxes.....all came to around $20.00 for my little 5lb.

The price does vary quite a bit from place to place. Plus it favors the larger tank, usually twice as large a tank only costs a couple dollars more. Paying $25 more up front to get the 10 or 15 pound tank could end up saving you in the long run versus 5#, especially on a larger tank were you might be refilling it more often. But you already have it, unless you can find someone to sell it to I'd just stick with the 5 unless you find you have to refill it to often.

yeh, I'm sticking with the 5lb. If I spend any more money on this (fish) tank my wife would kill me! :evil_lol:
I'm really curious to see how long the 5lbs. of co2 will last.
