I just got my brand new 5# tank filled and attached it to my Milwaukee regulator w/ solenoid, needle valve, and bubble counter.

I turned the knob on and instantly there's 50 kg/cm3 showing on the first dial. The second dial shows nothing. At first I turned the needle valve on and a few bubbles came out. I messed with the knob some more and no more bubbles have come out since.

I tried switching the outlet that the solenoid is to one that works for sure and I still can't get anything to come out with the top knob and needle valve opened all the way.

When I turn off the top knob and unscrew the regulator a little bit hisses out and the pressure gage returns to 0. It goes back up to 50 if I screw it on tight and turn the top knob back on.

Any tips as to what is wrong?

Whoever originally stole the regulator off my doorstep lost the "regulator knob" labeled as knob E. I'll try to go look around in the grass where the box was.

nope......anybody know where I can get one? I'm looking but so far no dice.

If I stick a philips head screwdriver into the hole it will let gas go through. I just need this knob, everything seems to work fine when I push on it. The pressure is too great to tape something in there, maybe I can find a knob at the hardware store.

I got a threaded bolt from the hardware store that fit it perfectly, I just have to use a wrench to adjust it.

CO2 IS ON BABY!

Thanks for all the help Ken, you are amazing.
