Not to jump in on this but it does sound cheaper to get the CO2 cylinders and i was wondering if you all had any imput on what size to get for a 20g i currently have the Red Sea Turbo CO2 Bio system but am not all that happy with the results so thought your ideas may work more sufficiently to get the growth i want from my plants.

in the long run yes. if you have the room get a 5 pound co2 tank with regulator. there are also smaller ones made for paint ball systems.

I have seen the ones for the paint ball guns now you have to buy the regulator seperate correct?

red sea makes one that just screws on the paint ball co2 tanks.

I've looked at the paintball regs and they are just as much as for regular co2 bottles. so unless you really don't have room for a 5 lb tank I can't see why not just get a reg for a 5 lb bottle instead.

i have 1 welding shop here and they can kiss my behind..lol for a 5lb cylinder they want 135.00 and that is empty.guess i will have to look around online and that is just for the cylinder nothing else, anyone know of any cheap online places
