No. It's not worth it at all. There are a couple of real problems with that setup. One is they supply you with silicone tubing which is one of the worst choices you can make for carrying CO2. The controller they supply is over priced.

You can get a COMPLETE system that will work better if you buy your parts carefully and individually.

Get a quality regulator
Get the Milwaukee SMS122 controller (if you want a controller, if you just want to run the CO2 on a timer you can save a large chunk of cash)
Build or buy a reactor. If you have canister filter I highly suggest building your own reactor. I have a section of my Guide where I show how to build a reactor.
 
Go to Aquacave.com and get the Milwaukee Regulator MA 957 ($78) and also get the Milwaukee PH Controller SMS122 ($90) then go to Big Als Online and get 6 feet of Co2 tubing ($6) and the Red Sea CO2 Reactor ($35) = great setup for $209. Now get your self a 5lb CO2 tank $50-75 and you're allset!

First off you need to decide what a "full setup" consists of.

Minimum needed for CO2:

Cylinder
Regulator
Needle valve
Check valve
Tubing
Diffusion method

This gets you a manual system.

Add a solenoid and timer and you have a semi-auto system.

Add a pH monitor and remove the time and you have a automated system.
 
Guys, am I correct in assuming that a good tubing for CO2 is made out of urethane or polyurethane?
