I don't understand even how you would maintain something like that. On top of the fact that when you look at where do you have to be? On the floor?

it might be a ways up, but i like my tanks at chest level. it makes maintinence SO much easier for me.

I still think it isnt a horrible idea....

I could imagine a pretty nice tide pool setup in there too.....noise wouldnt be a factor.....only problem is where to put equipment.

You could buy (and stock) a much larger regular tank for the money.

The dimensions might be nice for something like a tridacnid clam display or a pair of topview ranchu or butterfly telescopes. Even If I was given one though, it probably wouldn't go on the floor, or have the top for that matter, so I don't think it would qualify as a coffee table fish tank anymore
