cold water algee

Hi all, I was wondering how to clean my goldfish tank. It grows brown algee like crazy. I have had success with tranfering one rock at atime to my pleco tank It is cleaned by the next morning. But plecos require warmer water than my fancy goldies. :help:

what about a hillstream loach i have 3 and they are great little workers.
they have many names mine were sold as hong kong plecos and they are compatible with goldfish but do better in groups so i hear.

If your water is not too cold get a single apple snail, It worked for me.
