I know it's been said, but even the most docile, non aggressive fish, can stress shrimp. Many have shrimp and fish, not just from Red Lobster ;). In such cases, the shrimp colonies may survive, but the shrimp will be affected. Either shortened lifespan, from stress, loss of young by fish feeding, or more time spent hiding than feeding, causing smaller, underfed shrimp.

I have colonies with both shrimp and fish, but I tend to have shrimp that are larger, and are not bullied by fish. In fact, if anything, they can bully the fish.

And I also think that it's not a good idea to introduce something, then start changing the chemistry quickly.

Good luck with your fish'n'shrimp!
