Well i have found my first clutch of columbian ramshorn eggs. I was just wondering how long it takes for them to hatch?

I was also wondering if you can move them?? I want to put them into a breeder net in a different tank
It is difficult to move them because they are like a big ball of snot - but I have moved some from tank to tank that have broken loose from the main snot ball. Best I can tell they hatched OK - not positive about that because at the time I was raising them and had a lot of them. From what I remember the gel coating is more for protection from fish picking at them than any thing else.
If you need to move them I would - they will lay more.
