my sis has a casio exilim 6mp. she told me they just came out with a 10mp with a larger screen. i used it once took great pics it was so small i could hardly hold it.

i just recently got a fuji finepix A500 for about $120 CDN.
im by no means a photographer or anything like that, i am the typical holiday/special occasion camera user. but for the price and the quality of pictures it has done thus far, i am more than happy with it.
my sis has an hp or similar specs and my aunt a kodak also of similar spec
and the kodak and fuji pics, looked pretty similar, the hp while still ok was the worst of the 3.
but like i said im no camera expert im just going on my personal experience.
and the fuji A500 for the price, ( was buying one under $200) i think the best choice.

a lot of professionals out there would recommend cannons over sony. the sony is only expensive because of the name. the picture quality isn't as good as cannon. cannon is good price for the quality of the pictures it gives you. if you want your money's worth, get cannon.

Depends on what you want to spend, If you want a good cannon like the sleek and slim powershots you're talking $250.00 for 5.0 mp, the 6 mp is $300, and the 10 mp is $450. They are all good cameras.

If its not imprtant enough for me to carry my bigger camera, then I'll use my camera phone. The quality on some of them are getting to be decent enough now. Its just to bad they give us Americans all the crapy stuff. Several european model phones and similar have awsome cameras.
